More videos.

I've created a monster.
This video thing is addictive and too easy.
The only problem is the space that it takes up on my computer. Now I have to get a new one. Who would have thought 100 gigs wouldn't be enough? Oh well, if we can scrounge the money from somewhere, it'll be worth it. These little clips add a whole new dimension to documenting V growing up. We've found that we're already scrolling back through the months on this site just as a reminder of the "old days".
Having a blog is thoroughly recommended for occasions such as having a baby or going on an extensive trip, even if no one but yourself reads it. It's like a high tech diary!
Plus, theoretically, it will always be there, no matter where you are - no matter what computer you're writing from. You can't say that about an old fashioned diary.

We're getting the feeling Violet might walk before she crawls. Everyday she's more stable on her feet and the less we feel the need to be there in case she falls. I keep having these dreams of her standing out of the blue, and running out of the room.

....Of course I say all of this and now I'm having problems uploading video.
I'll try again later. *sigh*

Having some lunch.

Picasa web album.

There were so many pictures from out visit out east that I decided to post a web album instead of posting them directly onto this blog. These are just a few of the pics.

Video Upload Test.

Good news if this works.
Blogger has added an easy way to upload video.
Here's a taste of what's to come in future.
We also picked up a small, still camera with video capabilities, so short videos will be taken often.

It's been a while.... again

We haven't had time for a proper update yet so here is just a quickie. We had a great trip to PEI and Ottawa it was so great to introduce Violet to all her family and friends. We also just said good bye to Laurel and Lige who were visiting from Edmonton - so GREAT to see them too. We are trying to get some rest and get caught up from all this visiting and hopefully get V back on a schedule sometime soon - fingers crossed... A couple of recent pics - lots more to come...
